HB 1652 - Amendment

ABLE's Peterborough Chapter has been successful in building power relationships with local legislators.

In a series of public meetings, ABLE members shared their stories and brought disability awareness to the community and to public officials.

On March 6th three out of four legislators from their district (in a bi partisan effort) will submit an amendment to put $1.5 million back into DD community services instead of into the rainy day fund.
